Klipsch designed the iFi™ system to make the fashionable Apple® iPod® experience sound even better than it does. And with the quality of music in mind, it has just done exactly that. With the iPod-dockable home stereo system available, the award-winning iFi is apt for use in a den, bedroom, office or a dorm room. The sub/sat setup includes a dock cradle and a long-range radio frequency remote.

It is designed perfectly, incorporating an audiophile-quality performance with brilliant aesthetics, making sure that technology can keep up all of our listening habits, and our prior possessions.

The iFi works with the iPod Nano, the iPod mini and the iPod video. Early 1G/2G iPods and iPod shuffles could not be docked and you needed to connect via the audio port on the rear of a dock or subwoofer.

Now, the wall-mountable or self-standing RSX-3 satellite is a magnetically shielded two-way, speaker that possesses a 3.5-inch aluminum woofer and a 0.75-inch titanium dome compression driver coupled with a special round MicroTractrix™ Horn. Other features include an 8-inch subwoofer, designed specifically for this system, that has an inbuilt Class D amplifier that can distribute about 200 watts of peak system power to amplify all your channels. It features a slot port and line level input and a unique tuning that helps to provide a sound that you can only find in bigger subwoofer boxes.

And yes, the radio frequency remote is able to send signals through walls and floors and with around six remotes you can control the iFi and a docked iPod from anywhere in the home. And of course, the dock cradle also provides a volume dial, standby/mute button, volume/subwoofer select button and a light bar indicating the current volume level. After all the high-tech state-of-the-art systems, you’d really think they’d forget that?
